Horse people have always found each other the old-fashioned way. Word of mouth at the barn, a recommendation from a trainer, a flyer tacked to the bulletin board near the wash rack. It works — until it doesn’t. Until you move to a new area, change disciplines, or simply need something no one in your barn circle has tried before.

Equivont was built for exactly that moment.

Your Equestrian Resource, Reimagined

Equivont is a product and service directory created specifically for the equestrian community. Whether you’re looking for a new farrier, sourcing quality feed, hunting for the perfect saddle pad, or trying to find a trainer who actually gets what you’re working toward, Equivont puts the right businesses in front of you without the noise.

No sorting through big-box retailers. No outdated phone numbers. No wondering if a business is even still operating. Just a clean, curated directory of equestrian businesses and professionals who know horses because horses are their life.

The Small Businesses Worth Finding

The equestrian world runs on passion. Behind every great tack shop, every skilled farrier, every carefully crafted supplement line is a small business owner who chose this industry because they love it. These are the businesses that deserve to be found, and they’ve historically been the hardest to find.

Equivont changes that. By giving small and independent equestrian businesses a visible, credible home online, the platform connects them with the riders who are actively searching. It is good for businesses and even better for horse owners who want to put their money where their values are.

Two Riders Who Knew There Was a Better Way

Equivont was founded in 2017 by Jessica DiCostanzo and Jaclyn Burke, two lifelong equestrians who understood the problem because they had lived it.

Jessica grew up on the California horse show circuit, competing in hunters, dressage, and eventually eventing. When she relocated across the country and began researching options for bringing her horse along, the experience was eye-opening for all the wrong reasons. Boarding facilities, trainers, farriers, transport professionals. Hours of searching, and what she found were outdated directories with nothing more than a name and a phone number, if that. Voicemails that went unreturned. Websites that hadn’t been touched in years. In every other service industry, people search online to understand their options. Why should the horse world be any different?

That question became Equivont.

To bring it to life, Jessica partnered with Jaclyn Burke, who grew up riding near Lake Tahoe and has competed in both jumpers and dressage. With years of experience as a rider, a professional instructor, and a digital marketer, Jaclyn brought exactly the combination of skills the platform needed. Together, they built something the equestrian community had been waiting for without quite knowing it.

Today, Equivont is a trusted editorial platform and curated directory designed to connect riders with the professionals and products that will genuinely serve them.

A Fresh Look, the Same Trusted Resource

Equivont has been serving the equestrian community since 2017, and the platform just got a significant upgrade. The newly redesigned website makes finding what you need faster and more intuitive than ever before. Clean navigation, a beautifully organized directory, and a growing library of editorial content that reflects the depth and craft this industry deserves.

Speaking of content, here is what you will find beyond the directory:

Helpful Guides cover the practical side of horse ownership and barn life, written by people who understand what it actually takes to care for a horse well.

Behind the Business profiles the real people behind the brands in the directory. These are the stories that make you want to support a business.

Product Reviews give you an honest, informed perspective on what is worth buying and what is not, from a team that rides.

Featured Riders spotlights equestrians across disciplines, from the weekend trail rider to the competitive amateur putting in serious ring time.

New content is added regularly, so there is always a reason to come back.

Find Your People. Find Your Products.

The equestrian community has always run on trust and relationship. Equivont is simply a better way to build both. Whether you are new to horses or have been in the saddle your whole life, you will find the directory to be a resource worth bookmarking.
