With the horse treat market flooded with options, it can be a challenge to choose cookies for your horse. It's kind of like going to the bakery section of the grocery store...they all look good! However, A to Z Horse Cookies are definitely the real deal.
Not only are these treats delicious, but you can feel good about the way that they're made. A to Z Cookies are made in the USA from the best ingredients. They're free of wheat, corn, soy, and alfalfa, and they're also calorie- and sugar-conscious. And, they're made with organic, all-natural ingredients. Wow. With all of these healthy attributes, you might think that these treats could be bland, but my picky horse loved them. My picky mare also had cushings, and these were a safe, special treat for her. They're also soft enough that I was able to administer medications to her with them as a pill pocket.
These treats also keep very well. The packaging reminds you to store them in a cool and dry place, but admittedly, my stash of these cookies got a lot of heat and sun exposure. To my delight, they remained soft and fresh even in less-than-ideal circumstances.
The only downside of these cookies is their slightly higher price point, but if you look at the ingredients, the production, and the company values, it is definitely worth the investement.
