Rocky Hollow Farm started in 1980 on 11 acres of desert, sagebrush covered, bare ground. It was soon developed into a kindergarten for young race horses.
In 1984, an adjoining piece of property was purchased, allowing for a gallop track, and a cross country schooling course to be added.
In 1996, an indoor arena and 15 new stalls were added to allow for easier year round training, and teaching.
By this time, the focus had shifted from preparing racehorses for the track, to retraining racehorses for their new careers off the track.
By 2013, we began sourcing and importing dressage, show jumping, and eventing horses from Europe. From this, a new business model was formed in conjunction with the training and competing, and Rocky Hollow Sport Horses was born.
As of 2020, RHSH has sourced over 25 top level prospects, with many of them now approaching the top levels in their respected disciplines.
