If you are struggling to make progress and find clarity in your Dressage training, this course is for you! This course offers a step-by-step guide to creating a plan to make progress in Dressage and to better understand the Dressage training scale and how to correctly train and ride your horse.
For many riders, it is challenging to understand what the root causes of your problems are and to find ways to eliminate the road blocks that are preventing your progress. We will start with assessments on strengths and weaknesses in different areas of your riding and training. We then take a detailed look at the Dressage training scale, as this serves as a framework to assess and identify all training issues. The course then analyzes rider position, emotional mindset and finishes with goal setting. The end result will be a clear understanding of your strengths and weaknesses as a rider and what needs to be done to make progress.
This course is designed for YOU to understand and take responsibility for your weaknesses and your progress. You will only make progress once you can see and understand your issues and make a plan to improve!

Amelia Newcomb
Amelia is passionate about sharing her knowledge of horses and dressage with others. She has trained several horses and riders from Training Levels up through Grand Prix and loves the challenge of training a young horse up through the levels. Amelia has a clear understanding about what it takes to be a top rider, trainer, and competitor and wants to share her message and knowledge with other aspiring riders.
Unlike many top riders, Amelia was NOT a natural talent and fell off so many times in her early riding days as a kid that her instructor nearly told her parents she should quit riding! Perseverance and determination, not just innate talent, is what made Amelia into the rider and horseman that she is today.
Amelia is very talented with horses and students of all levels and disciplines. She enjoys helping each individual student and horse to find harmony, trust, and balance. "Nothing is more rewarding than watching one of my students glide harmoniously around the ring together with their horse! This makes my heart soar!", says Amelia.
Amelia hopes to one day represent the U.S.A. at the Olympic Games and loves training her students and her two horses, Harvey and Gatsby in Los Angeles, CA.
