Kynynmont Keaton is a 2018 Halfbred Connemara by our ACPS Premium Connemara Stallion Kynynmont Cooper O’Grady and out of Kynynmont Tara (by Greystone McErrill). Keaton’s brother on his dam’s side is a little bit famous (Kynynmont Gunsmoke’s Gideon!).
Keaton is 15.1 and ½ and wears shoes. His gorgeous coloring is a “caramel” buckskin. Keaton has great gaits and his canter is something you could ride all day! Keaton has a great brain, is safe, and has a "Can We Be BFFs?" personality.
Keaton is an exceptional character and he is wonderful to horse show! His first recognized show ever was at the 2024 National Dressage Pony Cup at the World Equestrian Center. He was fabulous in the busy warmups and didn't blink an eye at the intimidating environment, with scores up to 71.2%! Check out this short video of Keaton's NDPC here.
Sadly, during a PPE radiographic changes in his left front were surprisingly found and were confirmed by MRI. Kynynmont will disclose all records in our possession. Keaton has been cleared by his veterinarian to continue competing in USEF/USDF competition and to continue his daily work. However, we will not be pushing him past his current level of training. There are surgical options which we have decided not to pursue since he is sound and happy.
Keaton's ideal home is with someone who will appreciate him for what he is - a beautiful mover with a wonderful temperament - AND who will accept that he has limitations and will likely need continued maintenance. At this time he is sound in his left front but there's no crystal ball to tell when or even if he may show clinical signs.
This unicorn is looking for his unicorn home, and a great home is a must. We have greatly reduced Keaton's price in an effort to find him the perfect home. (Keaton HWSD:N/N)
