On January 8th, our dear friend, horse trainer, mother, and animal lover, Julie Sloan, lost her home to the Eaton Fire in Altadena.
She is not one to ask for a hand out, but rather the kind of person that would give you the shirt off her back (or the eggs from her coop!).
Rebuilding the home she raised her family in will be a long, painful and expensive journey. Julie is starting from scratch.
Those of us in the horse community know how hard it is to get by without losing everything we own in a fire. These funds will support temporary housing, replacing essential belongings like clothing, cat food and kitty litter and providing Julie with the stability to recover from this unimaginable loss.
